Bianca Mathews
My name is Sensei Bianca. I dedicated myself to the Martial Arts when I was 14. However, it has been in my life since I was a little girl. My father trained before I was born. He has stories of little me trying low blocks and punches from Taikyoku Shodan. When I was a bit older my mother signed me up at a Karate school, that was short lived because the head instructor passed away from cancer. I did not start back up till I was 14, when I moved in with my father. Where I expressed to him that I wanted to train again and he re-joined with me. In the summers I would live with my mother. During that time I would get to expand my mind and experiences by participating at other Dojos. In my Martial Career I had moderate success at tournaments and organizing demonstrations but my main focus is to continue to train American Kenpo, Goshin Jutsu, and Bu Jutsu.(Classical weapon study) I also enjoy working out or training with many knowledgeable and open minded practitioners/ instructors. I had many things pull me away from Martial Arts but I always came back. I feel like it’s a calling and has genuinely made great changes to me: Mentally, Physically, and Spiritually.
